To submit an idea please do the following:
- Register yourself for an account on this site.
- You’ll receive an email with your password and the login link.
- You will have “contributor” level access: you can write a post, but you will not be able to publish it.
- Send an email to ideas@saveAISDschools.org when you believe it’s ready for publication; if it’s not essentially a duplicate of another post (published or pending), we’ll publish it. (This step is important; WordPress isn’t sending any notifications when you click Submit for Review and it’s not showing up in the Administrator’s dashboard, for whatever reason)
- Share the link to your post via email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Yes, you can vote (once) for your own post!
Note that very soon Save Austin Schools will also be accepting the community’s ideas and coordinating with researchers on the ideas’ viability and potential cost savings.
Also note that we know the voting system is relatively easy to game, but please, don’t be an idiot.
